A New Kind of God

Is this just yet another manifestation of God? Throughout history Man has created Gods to help him to make sense of the chaos of existence. Is this yet another? It seems that in this computer age, humanity is trying to create a new kind of God in an increasingly lonely existence. Like money, religion is not evil, but those that wield it are often shown to be. And as their power grows, the message becomes twisted and lives are destroyed.
