In Greek mythology, Medusa was a beautiful woman cursed by Athena to turn any who looked upon her face to stone. In a way, this mirrors the atrophy of skills that AI will foster. But will this lead to a stagnation of the fountain of knowledge, that will cause a gradual petrification of Medusa herself?
